Ardhowen Theatre, Enniskillen

Ardhowen Arts Centre for Fermanagh District Council has a beautiful setting on the shores of Lough Erne in Enniskillen.

Full advantage is taken of the magnificent views over the Lough with the foyers, bars and restaurant immediately behind a glazed façade – tinted green to mirror Lough. The glazed modernity of the new structure allows for an easy junction with the older building. The building was published in the Guardian newspaper in England, won Ulster Building of the Year, a RIBA Regional Award (and subsequently published in the RIBA Yearbook), a RIAI commendation and Civic Trust Awards.
