U4D Concept – University for Derry

U4D is a group of visionary businessmen and educational leaders who see the expansion of the university in the city as crucial to the economic regeneration of the city.

The riverside and Strand Road is wholly underdeveloped and our scheme seeks to re-establish these two areas as bustling urban areas with an energic mix of uses including commercial and educational.

The expansion of the university towards the city will create a University Quarter which will bring civic stimulating architectural structures to invigorate our urban fabric.
